I wonder if I'll actually get hatemail for this one. Heh. Well, to preemptivly bite some objections in the bud. 1. I'm not homophobic and 2. I actually like Axel and Roxas as characters. That said, though, it seems like everywhere I turn 'round here there's some KH character getting it on with some other KH character, the whole thing seemingly decided by Russian Roulette. Seriously people! Some of you are very good artists! Can't you think of anything else to do that's a better use of your time? I mean jeebus.
Edit: Further clerification- again, this is not commentary against gay couplings. It could have been a random female and male character (say, Kairi and Riku or something). It's just that I'd seen much more Axel X Roxas stuff out there. My main objection is the random, meaningless pairings that fly in the face of context and make no sense story wise.
hallelujah! I hate the random pairings stuff fans do with their fandom characters. Most of all of there's not reason to it. If it's in the series, fine, I don't mind. But damn, the KH madness has grown out of hand. (I don't like the game anyway X_X)

I got no problem with romantic musings of any kind, but yeah, I do like a little in-canon support. Most yaoi stuff seems contrived or, at its most distressingly common, pulled straight forth from an ass somewhere. The worst of these being, naturally, the pairing up of two characters that want each other dead. Yes, because wanting somebody dead is clearly a metaphor for wanting to buttsecks them. Even in the case of Invader Zim and Dib (and why in hell are people compelled to make Zim sexy?), where it's constantly clear that either would rest better knowing the other is dead, and in one case I've seen, freaking Pyramid Head and James. Where do they get romance or even physical attraction from that? PH's got a triangle for a head and a heart full of rape, for chrissake.

Mostly fans will throw two people (or more, in some instances) together that they just think make a good looking couple. Some of the choices are insane, yes, but hey, if it makes their pants happy, go for it.
Got a bit of humour out of this, even though I'm a big fan of KH yaoiness. Axel + Fez = love. xD
Egh. Not for me. It's all just too contrived, and violates character far too much for my taste...much as I do with soap operas. Pairing after pairing after pairing, without any actual meaning, the most contrived rationals made up just to get two characters together without any real plot or set up. Or, in the case of images, just utterly random and without staying true to the character. Most of the time, it's a few tried and true poses that don't actually say anything about the characters themselves, they just turn them in to 'generic-yaoi-character' as opposed to what they originally were.
I think I love you. Anyone who opposes yaoi KH couplings is okay in my books.
Not that I'm against homosexuality, but... it's a video game with DISNEY characters in it.
Obviously it's aimed towards a younger age group, thus, it's just ridiculous to assume everyone is homosexual.
Plus, it's not realistic. Seriously, any male character shares (unromantic, in my opinion, just sentimental) feelings
towards another male character and automatically he's labelled by fans as a homosexual.
I believe that Axel just has strong feelings of friendship towards Roxas, as is the same with Sora & Riku,
not a sexual interest, but it seems any of Squeenix's attempts at sentiment have been twisted around
into these awful yaoi-drenched fan ideas...
But, yes, all rambling aside, great comic, the glasses & hat were a cute touch, I would have added a pipe
Oh, but I guess he had coffee, so, that's good, too. Well done
;D Yeah. This isn't specifically a comment about yaoi, but fan pairings in general. The utter rediculousness of slapping two characters together without any regard for context or the actual story. And it's everywhere. Uuuuuugh. Though, yes, it does tend to express itself as yaoi alot.
