Bayeux Tapestry Drinking Horn

I can finally upload this! It was one of a pair of horns I did as a wedding gift for my brother and his wife. The black horn is from a water buffalo, and I did all the engraving myself. It's pretty much scrimshaw, but with gold colorant rubbed into the etchings instead of ink.

The design is based off of the Bayeux Tapestry, which is a medieval piece illustrating the Norman invasion of England. I soaked the inside with mead and then coated it in beeswax, so it can actually be used for drinking.
